MARC On-Air Nets

The Montgomery County Amateur Radio Emergency Service (ARES) conducts a weekly net on MARC’s 2-meter repeater (146.955 MHz) on most Tuesdays at 8 PM. Hams having an interest in emergency and public service communications are welcomed and encouraged to check in and participate.

On the first Tuesday of the month, there is no net. Instead, members of ARES and Montgomery County Auxiliary Communications Service (MCACS) meet via Zoom at 8 PM. For more information about ARES and MCACS, please see our shared website, https://mcacs.net.

Would you like to have a try at being a net control operator?

All Club members are welcome to run the Sunday night net. The net is friendly and easy-going,
so it's a good place to get your feet wet as a net control operator. To assist control operators,
example scripts for the Sunday night net is available.
